GUIDED WALKS AND CYCLING IN THE SUMMER

During the first three weeks of the summer break, Sally and Bob are organising guided walks on Cannock Chase and cycling around Lichfield and on the Chase too. Read more about these events on our summer activities page. It would be great to see you there and we will try and organise something for everybody, big and small.

Walking

All walks will take place on Cannock Chase. It's a beautiful place to walk and safe for the children too. We will organise several walks from a couple of miles 'picnic and play' walk to a serious 10 or 15 mile explore or further if you're up for the challenge.

Cycling

Cycling will take place on a couple of circular routes around Lichfield and the surrounding area on roads that are rarely used by traffic. We would recommend that the road events are only undertaken by adults. We will also be cycling on Cannock Chase for the off-road enthusiasts.

The legal bit: Please note that the walking and cycling activities are being organised by Bob & Sally and are not a Lichfield Dolphins activity so you will not be covered by the Lichfield Dolphins insurance policy. All activities are weather permitting and if for any reason we will have to cancel then we will post on the summer activities page the day before. All events are free of charge. Parking is the responsibility of the participant. Enjoying yourself is mandatory :-) and no swimming anywhere to be seen!
