Changeover and registration

Please note that although we state that our mainstream lessons are 30 minutes, we do allow a changeover and/or registration of up to 2 minutes at the start and end of each lesson.

Payment of fees

Fees are payable in 8 week blocks in advance.

Start dates

Simple - any time you like. Our timetable is on an 8 week rolling basis which means that whenever you join you will always receive the full lesson curriculum.

Assessments

We operate a continuous assessment policy so teacher assessments will be in every lesson. Formal assessments are as requested by the teacher and are carried out in lesson time and on a continuous basis.
At Lichfield Dolphins we have a very simple fee structure.

  • No joining fee
  • No fee for badges and certificates
  • No admin fees
  • No fee for assistants in the water
  • No charge for registration on to our "Home Portal" so you can see up to date progress and pay for your lessons securely online
  • No extra fees for how you like to pay
  • No extra fees to have catch-up lessons due to non attendance for any reason. We've got children so we know what's it's like to pay and not receive a lesson

What does our fee include?

  • High quality instruction from fully qualified teachers
  • Registration on to our "Home Portal" so you can follow progress of swimmers and pay for your lessons securely online
  • All teachers are enhanced DBS checked
  • All lesson badges and certificates
  • All distance badges and certificates up to 50m
  • Assistants in the water where necessary
  • Ongoing training and mentoring of teachers in latest techniques
  • 2 fully qualified first aiders on site at all times
  • Beginner taster course *
  • Maximum of 8 per instructor
  • Catch-up lessons due to non attendance for any reason.

​* We realise that your child may not take to swimming immediately. For that reason we allow you to book a four week taster course instead of the standard eight week block if you are unsure for any reason.
